This Diamond Point Self Filling fountain pen uses a hinged pressure bar that presses the sac against the back of a fixed half sleeve. The sac is attached to a nipple, that in turn is friction fit into the back of the section. The metal filling mechanism has two arms at the section end that are bent around the hard rubber nipple to keep it in place and stable. The box is pictured with the printing from all four sides. The box clearly described the pen, although none of the patents listed are a match for the pen. There are ads in Geyer’s Stationer from 1908 that show a Diamond Point Self Filling pen with the same imprint and patent dates, and based on the ads, that other self filling model would seems to be a match for both of the later two patents.
